Flashes of Hope

Flashes of Hope

What an incredible organization- we were so lucky that my daughter survived her cancer, but the photos that we have of that time are still so special to me. I can't imagine how much it would mean to other families to be able to access this kind of program.

It never ceases to amaze me the amazing ways that people can find to make others' lives better.

American medical insurers never cease to amaze me

They won't treat anorexia and bulumia because it might not be biologically based? And the only way to determine that is to ask to see Facebook and emails from sufferers? Weird.

Baby Doe - allnurses: A Nursing Community for Nurses

I can't imagine having to make those kinds of decisions- after my kids spent so much time in the NICU we saw a lot of very premature babies, and were able to hear a lot of the decisions being made (there's not a lot of privacy in the NICU). I was blessed that we got to 30 weeks.

Really interesting story
